Expoze Official started as a shift from my NBA dreams into visual storytelling, growing from a high school mixtape page into a full creative agency working with athletes, artists, and major brands.
I never planned on running a creative agency, my original dream was to become an NBA player. But throughout high school, I struggled to make the team since I had never played organized basketball before. After realizing that backyard hoops didn’t translate to real games, I accepted that playing professionally might not be my path. Still wanting to stay connected to the sport, I picked up a camera and created an Instagram page called “Taft Mixtapes” at William Howard Taft High School. As the page grew, I realized this wasn’t just a hobby, it was the start of something bigger. I rebranded into Expoze Official so I could reach a wider audience and cover more than just my school. That decision opened doors fast, allowing me to work with athletes like Jamal Crawford, Allen Iverson, and DeMar DeRozan, and later expand into filming concerts and tours for artists such as Drake, Travis Scott, and Lil Durk.
After graduating from DePaul University, I enrolled at Western Governors University to pursue my MBA online, giving me the flexibility to build my business at the same time. While doing school, I produced social media and branding content for local Chicago businesses, which helped me grow Expoze Official beyond sports and music. That consistency and networking eventually led me to collaborate with major brands like Meta, the NBA, and NASCAR. Today, Expoze Official has evolved into a full creative agency built on storytelling, sports culture, and high-quality visual content all rooted in what started as a simple mixtape page and a love for the game.
What makes Expoze Official more than just another content agency is the way I treat every interaction as an opportunity to build something meaningful. Whether I’m in the room with a top-tier athlete, an emerging artist, a business owner, or a brand marketing team, I approach every connection with respect, curiosity, and intention. I’ve learned that the smallest moments often lead to the biggest opportunities, and that mindset has opened doors to some of my strongest collaborations. People trust Expoze because we don’t just show up with a camera, we show up with purpose, preparation, and genuine interest in their story.
We also bring a relentless work ethic and a clear creative vision to every project. From capturing gritty basketball footage in high school gyms to filming arena-level concerts, documenting backstage moments, and producing polished campaigns for major brands, my goal has always been the same: to create visuals that feel real, cinematic, and emotionally powerful. Over the years, Expoze Official has grown into a storytelling hub that blends sports, music, and brand culture. By combining video, photography, editing, and social media strategy, I’ve built a platform that helps athletes, creators, and businesses share their stories in the most impactful way possible. This wasn't only about content… it’s culture, connection, and creativity brought to life.
Along the way, I’ve learned that success doesn’t happen overnight. Staying consistent especially while balancing school, work, and my passion projects was one of the toughest parts of the journey, but also one of the most rewarding. Every stage taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of showing up even when things aren’t perfect. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is simple: trust the process. Embrace the setbacks. The long nights, the doubts, the pressure, the responsibilities they’re all part of the bigger story. Every challenge is shaping you into the person who’s ready for the opportunities you’re working toward. Keep growing, keep experimenting, and keep pushing forward.
For anyone just getting started, dive fully into your craft. Hone your skills, put in the reps, and stay hungry. Build relationships with everyone, not just the “important” people because you never know who might open a door for you later. In this industry, consistency and connection are everything.
